Where its own users say it hurts

These themes come from public App Store and Play Store reviews of the Smarters family (2019–2026), not from us:

Setup is a naked URL box. The first screen asks for a portal URL with no explanation; failures show generic errors like "failed to authorize" no matter what actually went wrong.
AirPlay complaints recur on iOS — purchases made specifically for casting, followed by audio-only output or no devices found.
Paywall history. The 2021 update that put existing settings behind a payment drew the single most-upvoted negative review in the category's public record. Ads and upsell pages remain a recurring 1-star theme on iOS.
Billing and restore-purchase failures — lifetime upgrades not recognised after reinstall, purchases lost when switching phones.
